Since the beginning of the internet, people have been saying that high value domains will be diluted (less valuable) with less expensive options or replaced with a new, more efficient protocol. We watched new domain extensions like .biz, .info, and .mobi enter the market, the evolution of mobile apps, the start of the .anything movement, the beginning of blockchain, the use of county code domains for startups, like .io, ai, co, and web 3.0 domains like .eth.
There are more naming options than we could have ever imagined, but instead of those new options diluting or replacing a premium domain, it has reinforced it. That isn’t to say you can’ buy a much less expensive domain, you certainly can, but like with most things, you get what you pay for. We are focused on value, and price our domains to reflect that. If you don’t like our price or feel you are not getting good value, reach out and we are happy to discuss our appraisal process and the value proposition. We get it, sometimes great domains look expensive versus great value for the right buyer.
We are on a mission to get more great domains into the hands of great makers, entrepreneurs and companies, with less friction, upfront costs and risk.
